Buck—a company that enables mobile credit-card payments—has launched a single-click credit-card checkout for goods on the go.
The company, which previously was known as Billing Revolution, acts as a mobile express checkout lane for merchants and consumers. Its single-click solution supports mobile credit-card purchases on any device or network, for any goods or services, with no account, username or password required. Users pay Buck an initial fee at which time they also become a member of the Buck network in which they are automatically recognized by all Buck-powered merchants. As a financial institution, Buck is PCI Level 1-compliant to ensure merchants and consumers alike are protected by bank-grade device fingerprinting and fraud prevention.
"Buck offers a purchasing experience like Amazon for everyone, all while delivering merchants twice the conversion of other checkouts at half the price," said Andy Kleitsch, co-founder and CEO of Buck. "Buck enables merchants to safely and securely process transactions across their own merchant accounts at much lower rates and receive immediate payments."
Buck has also been selected to power mobile payments for Glamour magazine, among other partners. Its solution will be used in the magazine’s innovative shopping platform planned for its March issue—which will showcase The Glamour Apothecary Wall, where consumers will be able to purchase beauty products via their mobile phone and also buy straight from the pages of the magazine.
