Sephora has opened its first store in Brooklyn, New York. The official grand opening—with many events, demos, guest appearances and specials—was Nov. 1 and Nov. 2. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Nov. 1.

The first 100 clients both days received Sephora gift cards with mystery values worth up to $1,000.

The 8,039-square-foot, freestanding store offers more than 13,000 products from 200-plus brands—including Sephora's own collection of makeup, skin care, tools and accessories.
