CPNA 2014 Offers Free Code for Beauty Store Business Readers

Beauty Store Business readers can soon sign up for two free, three-day badges per company—a $270 value—to attend Cosmoprof North America 2014 July 13-15 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, show officials have announced.

BSB readers can use the special "BEAUTY$14" code, they have added. Online registration to start the process will be open by April 15.

The Professional Beauty Association and Global Experience Specialists, which provides exhibition, event and entertainment experiences, have extended their existing trade-shows agreement.

The International Salon and Spa Expo in Long Beach, California, and Cosmoprof North America in Las Vegas will continue to work with GES through 2018.

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna Attracts Record-Breaking Number of Visitors

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, which took place at the Bologna Fairgrounds in Bologna, Italy, March 8-11 closed its 2013 show with record-breaking figures: 193,842 visitors for a 14% increase with 48,823 visitors from outside of Italy for a 22% increase.

The number of exhibitors this year—2,390—was also up from 2,320 in 2012.

That figure included about 1,500 (63%) from outside of Italy as well as prominent new country pavilions from India and Colombia.
