COTY Announces New Organizational Structure, Future Executive Team

COTY has announced a new organizational structure and the future leadership team for the company, both of which will become effective when its merger with the Procter & Gamble Specialty Beauty Business (including fine fragrance, color cosmetics, salon professional and hair color and styling businesses) is complete—which is expected in the second half of 2016.

Reuben Carranza, president of R+Co

Reuben Carranza is the president of R+Co, a new professional haircare line launching in May, as announced by Luxury Brand Partners, an incubator for artist-driven beauty brands, for which Carranza oversees the development of innovative brands and education platforms the brand is launching.

R+Co brings together a collective of top stylists, led by Howard McLaren, Thom Priano and Garren, to celebrate the culture of hairdressing, provide high-performance products created from a unique point of view and offer groundbreaking education.

Beauty Store Business attended the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors' 2014 Cosmetic/Technical Regulatory Forum March 6 at the Le Meridien Delfina in Santa Monica, California. One of the many topics discussed there was pending state legislation across the United States banning the use of plastic microbeads in beauty products.
