PBA Executive Summit Offers Actionable Insights

Attendees of the first-annual PBA Executive Summit took home worthwhile insights into beauty-industry consumer trends and marketing strategies. The sold-out event—which took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dec. 4-5—brought together 135 executives from top beauty companies, including Andis, DePasquale Salon Systems, Dermalogica, Joico, Matrix, OPI Products, Sally Beauty Supply, ULTA Beauty and Zotos.

PBA Introduces New Membership Experience

The Professional Beauty Association has introduced a new membership structure to accommodate its growing membership and to continue to craft a value-based experience for its members.

The new structure consists of three new membership types: Business Member, Individual Member and E-Member.

As October marks Domestic Violence Awareness month, the Professional Beauty Association's CUT IT OUT: Salons Against Domestic Abuse program is mobilizing salon professionals and others to fight the epidemic in communities across the United States by building awareness and training salon professionals to recognize warning signs and safely refer their clients, colleagues, friends and family to local resources.
