Sally Beauty Holdings announced on May 31 the purchase of certain assets of Essential Salon Products by its professional products-distribution subsidiary Beauty Systems Group.

And Kao USA, subsidiary of Kao Corp., has announced separately that it acquired the direct sales division of Essential Salon Products—which sells exclusive Goldwell and KMS California salon products in the New England area–effective May 31.
