The City of Hope 2014 Spirit of Life Award Gala, entitled "Celebrating Cures" and honoring Harlan Kirschner of The Kirschner Group, has opened this year's silent auction with a new electronic bidding system.

The new system allows bidding to be done through cell phones and on computers—hosted by AuctionsByCellular—allowing bidding anytime and anywhere, up to the close of the auction. Users even get an update when they're outbid.
