Are you heading to Hong Kong for Cosmoprof Asia 2012? More than 48,500 attendees and 1,800-plus exhibitors are expected to gather for the 17th edition of the trade show Nov. 14-16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, say show officials.
And the show floor exhibit space will increase by 9% over 2011 with an extension into Grand Hall to accommodate the increasing number of exhibitors catering to the beauty-salon sector, they add.
The show—a joint venture between BolognaFiere Group/SoGeCos and UBM Asia—will also cover four other product sectors of the beauty industry: perfumery, cosmetics and toiletries; packaging solutions; hair salon; and natural health.
Canada and Brazil are the new entries this year in national pavilions. They will join Australia, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
The focus countries for the 2012 International Buyer Program are Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand and Russia.
