Beauty-industry veteran and co-owner of Innovative Beauty Concepts Roger Perreault, 69, passed away on May 31 at his home in Longs, South Carolina.
Perreault began his career in 1969 as a distributor sales consultant at the A.J. Houle Beauty Supply Co. (currently NEKA Salon Network) in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he eventually became a partner. In 1983, he sold his interest in the company and moved to California, spending the next 25 years immersed in the beauty industry.
Perreault also worked as a sales manager for Paris Ace Beauty Supply in Los Angeles, as a manufacturer sales representative for Delger/Fligelman Associates, as a partner in the rep group Childers & Co. and as vice president of Freeman Associates. He went on to co-own Armstrong McCall Beauty Supply of El Cajon with his wife, Susan Holt Perreault, and they later co-owned Innovative Beauty Concepts, the manufacturer of the Kami Nail Art, Super Pro Files and Nail Esque brands.
Perreault served in the United States Air Force, was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, sang with the Low Country Chorus of Myrtle Beach and was a member of the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club. He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, four children, four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
