Derma e has hired Jennifer Norman as its new vice president of marketing, overseeing brand management, product development, public relations, ecommerce, education, market research and social media. The role is newly created for the company.
In her new position, Norman is responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing and communications strategy. She will help the company achieve its objectives of sales growth, visibility and profitability while ensuring a consistent message that adheres to corporate direction.
"I have always admired derma e from afar," says Norman. "The quality of the products, the company's business ethics, the core brand tenets and its incredibly loyal consumer base show me that the heart of the brand is very strong. My primary role now is to champion brand cultivation—to carefully nurture the best out of the brand so it will blossom and grow to be No. 1 in every category within the natural skincare space."
Norman holds more than 16 years of experience in the beauty industry, including marketing positions at L'Oréal, Victoria's Secret, Neutrogena and BORBA.
Most recently, she ran her own strategic-marketing consultancy, JNo Marketing, where she took on acting vice president of marketing roles for Stila Cosmetics and La Fresh Group.
Norman received her bachelor's degree in marketing management with a minor in graphic design from Virginia Tech, as well as an MBA from Georgetown University.
