NYX Cosmetics, the professional-makeup line known for offering "affordable luxury" products, has announced two new retail partnerships with Ricky's NYC and Pacific Sunwear of California. These retailers will extend NYX Cosmetics' presence in the New York marketplace and will build on the strategic partnerships NYX maintains with makeup artists and fashion brands, say company officials.
NYX Cosmetics CEO Scott Friedman states, "Within the last year NYX Cosmetics has experienced significant, multifaceted company growth, and we are extremely excited by the continued expansion these new strategic retail partnerships will afford us. Our partnership with both of these retailers represents our company's commitment to not only meet the expectations of our current customers, but also introduce the NYX brand to new audiences."
NYX Cosmetics launched into Ricky's NYC on Oct. 17, and will initially be sold in 28 storefronts. The one-stop super shop for everything beauty is the first major retailer in the heart of New York City to carry the NYX line. It's offering more than 380 SKUs, featuring products such as The Curve, Roll On Eye Shimmer, Soft Matte Lip Cream and Collection Noir. This partnership provides NYX consumers with long-awaited access to the brand in New York City.
Marlyn Roquemore, director of buying and product development at Ricky's NYC, adds, "Ricky's NYC is excited to be the premier retailer of NYX Cosmetics in New York City. The brand is a perfect complement to our extensive product range in color and cosmetic accessories."
On Oct. 10, NYX launched into all 619 PacSun store sites nationwide, selling NYX in all three categories of the company's locations. Featured products include Glam Shadow Stick, Mega Shine Lip Gloss, Super Skinny Eye Marker, Super Fat Eye Marker, Roll On Eye Shimmer, Fabulous Eye Lashes, Studio Liquid Liner and Liquid Crystal Liner. NYX Cosmetics sits alongside such established clothing brands as Roxy, Billabong, Fox Sports and Vans.
