The Personal Care Products Council—a national trade association representing the global cosmetic and personal-care products industry—will hold this year’s annual meeting in Naples, Florida, Feb. 21-24.
Thursday’s general session features Spotting Trends and Sparking Innovations with keynote speaker Jeremy Gutsche, an innovation expert and founder of trendhunter.com. A trends and innovation discussion panel will also be included. Following Gutsche, Bonnie Fuller, media executive and editor of HollywoodLife.com will moderate a panel to discuss how technology is helping companies identify consumer interests.
Friday’s general session will feature What the 2012 Elections Mean for Your Company with political pundits Charlie Cook, editor and publisher of The Cook Political Report, and Stuart Rothenberg, editor and publisher of The Rothenberg Political Report. It will include the media panel Target Markets—Maximize Your Success.
The council meeting is focused on providing attendees with unique learning experiences and networking opportunities, say organizers. In addition to the general sessions, the event will feature expanded committee meetings to attract broader representation from company management teams, an increased number of international executives and more expert speakers on a variety of topics.
