The men’s skincare market is booming as increasingly more men are taking greater interest in their overall grooming habits and personal appearance. It wasn’t too long ago that many men balked at the idea of using facial masks, scrubs and moisturizers. But today, market research is estimating that the men’s personal-care market will hit more than $160 million, globally, by 2022, according to a 2016 Allied Market Research report. Just one year before, in 2015, one of the most renown radio and TV personalities, Ryan Seacrest, and acclaimed dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer, announced their partnership to produce a men’s skincare line. The pair have now revealed that the long-awaited skincare collection will be available in 2017.
Seacrest has shared that he’s been a patient of Lancer’s for more than a decade, as well as a user of Lancer skincare products. With his clout, as a globally known celebrity, trend influencer and style icon, paired with Dr. Lancer, a Beverly Hills dermatologist with a global roster of more than 30,000 patients, including celebrities, who use The Lancer Method for attaining younger skin in three steps, and an eponymous skincare line, customers are likely already lined up for the launch.
The line, called Polished by Dr. Lancer, is designed to target skin issues specific to men and is expected to offer a dual cleanser and shave cream, a scrub, an antiaging serum and a moisturizer. It’s been reported that the collection will be sold via the brand website.
