New NPD Report Examines Consumer Nailcare Preferences

The March 2013 Nail Care & Polish Consumer Report from global information provider The NPD Group reveals that more than half of women over the age of 18 have purchased nail products for at-home use or professional nail services in the past year.

“The appeal and power of the nail category is both the permission to play and the accessibility in price,” says Karen Grant, vice president and global industry analyst at The NPD Group. “Even for those on a tight budget, nail products offer a relatively guilt-free treat with the power to change their options.”

China Glaze Texture

China Glaze introduces Texture, a unique lacquer that applies as a crème but dries with a 3-D texture effect. Unlike traditional nail-art techniques that require multiple steps, Texture only requires one step: painting the nail. It dries matte, but can be combined with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat for a glossy effect. Call 323.728.2999 or visit
