This iron is battery operated, features refined CHI ceramic technology in its compact size, and generates elegant styles on the go. Its 1-inch ceramic barrel and ceramic heater provide optimal temperature control and even heat distribution in order to master smooth, sleek curls. The state of the art temperature-control button is adept to any hair type, ranging from fine to coarse. The temperature-control settings are color coded. The installed, lithium battery allows up to 30 minutes of consistent heating in accordance to the heat setting.

This hairstyling product is newly revised and newly sized. It's available in two new sizes: a 1-¼ inch and ¾-inch ceramic barrel. Salon and professional beauty appliances and shears grew 7.1% as a category in 2012, according to the new 2012 Professional Salon & Pro Beauty Industry Appliances & Shears Study from Professional Consultants & Resources, which provides market intelligence and data research for the U.S. salon and professional-beauty industry. Note that the 7.1% growth is 18% greater than the overall salon industry’s growth rate of 6% for the same time frame.
